It will serve more than 17,000 students along with faculty, non-teaching staff, and their families. The centre brings six core services under one roof: consultations, a day-care unit for minor procedures, non-critical emergency support, an on-campus pathology lab, a pharmacy, and preventive health camps. It's built for a campus where many students are living away from home for the first time. Signed on May 28, 2026 at VIT Vellore, it marks the first of a planned national network of Dr. Morepen Health Centres across universities, schools, and offices.
